Storm Drain Cleaning

Storm Drain Cleaning in Progress

Pressure washing and vacuum cleaning storm sewer lines, catch basins, lift stations and culverts ensures effective water flow throughout the whole municipal sewer/stormwater network.  Vacuum cleaning is a cost-effective method of removing the dirt, grit, and other debris that can build up and result in partial or complete blockage and interruption of stormwater flow.

Vacuum cleaners like Super Products’ Camel® Maxxx Catch Basin & Sewer Cleaners provide a fast and safe storm sewer cleaning solution.  They quickly clean storm sewer lines using high pressure water while simultaneously vacuuming backflushed debris and water from the catch basin or manhole into the enclosed and sealed collector body, housed in the self-contained, mobile unit.

A hydraulic plate-operated dewatering system allows operators to compress the material into the debris body, removing water from the material and draining it separately.  This allows greater collection of debris on each trip and also results in a drier, lighter load to be transported to the dumpsite, reducing fuel usage and other operational costs and increasing productivity and efficiency. Along with the standard tip-to-dump unloading system (with its 50-degree dump angle), the Camel® Maxxx can also be equipped with a hydraulically operated ejector plate system that empties the contents without elevating the body.

Cleaning storm sewer lines with high pressure water and vacuuming large particles of high density material through the 8″ diameter suction tube makes Camel® Maxxx ideal for storm sewer cleaning.
