Supersucker® High Rail

Super Products’ Supersucker® industrial vacuum trucks are already designed for a variety of applications and jobsite settings, but that variety has grown with the optional rail wheel system for increased transportation versatility.  In addition to cleanups and removal of bulk material spills along rail tracks, the high rail system allows the unit to utilize rail tracks to drive to remote locations, just like a train.

The High Rail’s front rail wheels are located just below the front bumper, and the rear wheels are underneath the very end of the chassis frame rails on the rear of the unit.  Both sets of wheels are hydraulically raised and lowered, and each set has its own independent hydraulic controls located adjacent to them, and the hydraulic source for the wheels is the main unit’s hydraulic system.

The front rail wheels raise the front chassis tires off of the ground, and the rail wheels lock into position once fully engaged.  During this process, the rear rail wheels are lowered until they meet and align with the rail tracks, without raising the rear of the unit, and allowing the road tires to touch the ground.  The rear road tires propel the unit just as they would during normal road transit.

• 1/4” (6.35 mm) steel construction throughout entire body and filter chambers

• Body dumping is achieved by one heavy duty, telescopic double-acting cylinder that provides a 51° dump angle. The body, baghouses and separator chamber hydraulically raise together, allowing for quick unloading of material

• Full opening tailgate with two lift cylinders. The hydraulic tailgate latching system is liquid tight and prevents leakage in case of hydraulic malfunction. Latches and hinges are fully adjustable.
